About David Lamanna

David LaManna is well-known for his enthusiastic, high energy style of speaking. His primary goal when speaking to any audience is to encourage and inspire others to rise to the top and to attain the unqualified success that is within their reach.

An accomplished public speaker who has presented hundreds of workshops and seminars on communication, service and leadership skills, David is also a highly-regarded keynote speaker who delivers results-producing motivational talks to all types of audiences.
David has provided personalized individual training in communication skills to people and professionals in all walks of life. He has earned the Advanced Toastmaster designation from Toastmasters International and has won several Toastmaster speaking championships.

David has organized and taught communication and leadership courses on a volunteer basis for many high schools, colleges, grade schools and youth groups for over 15 years. He also has over 100 hours of service with Literacy Volunteers.

David also lends his speaking skills to various charitable organizations serving as emcee or facilitator at various functions. He is often called upon to serve as a volunteer auctioneer at charity fundraising events and has been honored for his work in this area.

David has received recognition for his leadership and speaking abilities from such groups as Rotary International, CT Educators Association, PlA, National Association of Partners in Education, Professional Insurance Women, Chambers of Commerce and many other professional and academic organizations. Among his awards are the Dean's Award for "Best Instructor" at Toastmaster University and the Service to Community Award given by the National Professional Insurance Agents. He is a past nominee for "National Volunteer of the Year Award" and a recipient of the prestigious "Business and Community Leadership" Award from Rotary International. David has also received the "Educator of the Year" Award for his many years of volunteer work with high school and grade school children.
